Cyanweb Solutions now offer secure offsite backup storage in “the cloud”.

Offsite backups are a must for mission critical data. A local external hard drive backup is simply not enough if your business depends on this data being safe.

Fire, theft and hard drive failure have all affected more than a few of our clients in the past, and without a proper backup solution it can take weeks, if not months in to recover.

Recovering data from a completely failed Hard Drive can cost upwards of $3000+ and there is no guarantee your data is recoverable.

60% of companies that suffer severe data loss never recover fully and often close down within 6 months.

We encourage all our clients to always setup a secure offsite backup system.

Our Backup Services:

If you require assistance in organising your backup systems we can help. We will setup backup software on each of your critical systems and configure them to automatically backup your data offsite to our Cloud Storage providers. Your data is 99.9996% guaranteed safe and is fully encrypted for data privacy and security.

Setup can be done remotely and, in most cases, does not require an on-site a call out. You can be notified everytime a backup has been completed or if there were any problems encountered during the backup.

ALL BACKUP SOLUTIONS ARE CUSTOMISED TO FIT YOUR REQUIREMENTS

Document Backup:

This type of backup will regularly store your important files / folders off-site in case of fire, theft or hardware failure.

Full System Backup:

This type of backup will image your entire system, including your operating system, all programs and all data on your drives.  Full system backups can be restored to a new or virtual machine in case of disaster.  Full system backups will require much more data storage and is usually combined with a local backup + cloud solution.

Data Considerations:

To avoid excess data fees we suggest you opt for suitable data plans with your ISP before setting up cloud backup services. We can schedule your backup plans to reduce monthly usage as needed.

Optimising Your Backups:

Only backup offsite what is essential for you to carry on business after a disaster / worst case scenario. Keep critical business files in separate easily identifiable folders.

Keep nightly email backups small by exporting old email (i.e. from previous financial years) to a separate backup file and remove them from your everyday working folders. This archived email file will be backed up only once over the network (until updated) and save you a lot of data transfer on a daily basis.

Regularly clean up your business files and archive old, un-needed files into easily identifiable “archive” folders.
